Main Ingredient : Paneer
Ingredients :
Paneer - cubbed - 2 cups
Heavy cream - 1 cup
Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Turmeric - 1 tbsp
Jeera - 1 tsp
Sombu 1 tsp
Star anise - 1
Bay leaves - 1
Cloves - 2
Cilantro - to garnish
Oil to saute
Salt to taste
To grind :
Tomato - 1 cup (chopped)
Onion - 1 cup (chopped)
Ginger garlic - 1 tbsp(chopped)
Cashew - 5
Green chilli - 2
Preparation :
- Heat a pan, add oil. First fry cubbed paneer. And take it out of the pan in a tissue.
- Then add little more oil, add all spices above. Then the ginger garlic chopped.
- Add the paste which is ground, then the chilli powder, turmeric. Let it boil.
- Add paneer to the boiling pan.
- Then add the heavy cream to the pan.
- Add salt to the gravy.
- Garnish with cilantro, you can add cashews too(optional)
Serve it hot with roti, naan, fried rice.
